Just buy the kit from mitsubishipartsdotnet, comes with everything you need. Or are you talking about aftermarket parts?

well im going to get the full kit with the gates belt, prob from map. but then im probably going to throw some other parts in the car as well, just not sure how deep my pockets will be or how big I want to go. depends on if I get a truck/bike etc.

the "hopeful parts list" if all goes well, depends on tax refund and money spent on vacation skiing!

- Air intake: JMF intake pipe/vibrant filters
- JMF LICP
- S2 cams
- Springs/retainers (dual vs single, retainers if needed?)
- 02 housing possibly
- 60K service kit/gates belt
- Maybe PPI ported stock exhaust mani
- head studs
- gasket
- struts/coils if my rears are blown.

obviously i talk talk talk about parts and never buy anything () and I got another 4k miles, just starting to think.

ideas grillo? how many miles are own your evo?

just sayin':

a term coined to be used at the end of something insulting or offensive to take the heat off you when you say it.

turns out my boost leak was the egr valve... i put a block off plate with some epoxy on there and shes holding boost like a champ again. fixing that leak did wonders for my idle stability too. In 50 some miles between last night and today I haven't been able to get it to stall on me once. it drives almost like a stock car again, but with a lot of noise and vibration.

anyone here use Eneos oil? My dad gave me a box that he got when he picked up the X. Just pulled it out to do an oil change only to read "synthetic blend". WTF, for the price and its not fully synthetic? anyone have any good experience or bad with this oil other than it being jdm balla expensive?

If I remember correctly I think its a very high quality oil something like brad penn. I have seen a lot of the higher end racing oils be blends. I'm not sure why
