It is somewhat odd that both husband and wife decided to be a-holes. Maybe they are having martial problems. I would give them the finger every time I see them from now on.
I would try to kill them with kindness. Thats what i do to Shelly's ******** uncle, who likes to make comments to her about me.

my wife does that all the time, I can stand it. I'd rather just kill them and get it over with.

i've been thinking this for a while now. there is a stigma attached to people who like cars/motorsports as a hobby. it's like you're labeled a douchebag instantly among people who don't appreciate the hobby. i can see little punks who walk around talking trash and driving like jerk offs receiving that label.

i've pretty much resolved to believe the stigma is primarily because people don't understand cars. the majority of people take their cars in for service and get ***-raped for whatever they don't understand then they go home, make some popcorn and be "armchair quarterbacks" for the rest of the day.

i was out to dinner with the in-laws and they were asking how the corolla was holding up (it was my wife's before i acquired it). and i said "great. it's a very reliable car blah blah and hasn't cost any major money lately though i'm a little concerned it may have a vacuum leak that needs to be looked into." when i said vacuum leak, my father-in-law started mocking me at the table. i wanted to reach across and smack the **** out of him. my reply was "what you disagree?" he told me he wouldn't know what that was.

that just makes me want to mock people and be an ******* to those who talk about football and put gay eagles stickers on their cars.

i'm getting more and more heated the more i think about it.

i do that in my garage from time to time when i get a dirty look. the garage acts as one big baffle. i sure it's such a big deal to my neighbors that it ruins their entire weekend.

i'm over killing people with kindness. if i don't like someone i like to let them know it. i don't need them realizing that i was being a dick to them 10 minutes later....i save that behavior for the know-it-alls at work.

sadly, i think this is the type of person we are associated with. Grassroot level motorsports is not part of the public consciousness, therefore its rare to find someone that thinks of it as a sport.

I have always been baffled by this. I'd say on average in our country people spend at least 20% of their income on cars. Almost everybody has that "cool" car they want. I have meet hundreds of "car guys" who didn't know a f'ing thing. So many people are obsessed with cars, yet know essentially nothing about them.

The industry really has done a brilliant job with marketing.

it is alot of work. probably better to just tell them what you think and let it be.

work is so stressful the past month- my boss just begged me not to quit.
i'm going out for lunch and I will consume 5 beers in 30 mins.

i'm tempted to take medical leave- I honestly am mentally breaking down from work.

James I know the feeling. I was there at the end of 2010...

I wouldn't have these problems if I was born rich instead of so damn good looking!

i'm a one man shop right now managing all infrastructure computing for a 6 billion dollar company. computers break - they are too unreliable. the past three weeks something MAJOR happened (all hardware related) but it is making IT look terrible to the business.
