Will mine fit too? I have a bunch of suspension work to get done. Kinda tired of laying on my back in the garage.. Took me a while yesterday to get my undertray all sorted but I did. I think its actually more secure now than it was before I preformed surgery on it. Zipties FTMFW!

After three weeks, Mitsu denied my warranty wiper module/harness claim. They are blaming the wideband/boost gauge. According to the service manager, they couldn't prove that the after market parts caused the problem, but they also couldn't prove that they didn't cause the problem.

The Mitsu corporate customer service line is closed on weekends, but I'm definitely not done fighting this one.

Thats bull$hit, but I'm not surprised. Mitsu sucks!

Do you have any idea what it will cost you to fix it on your own?

Not yet, but the wiper module is likely expensive. I'm not giving up yet on getting Mitsu to repair the car. Their reasoning sounds awfully weak, and I've got a few tricks up my sleeve.

my wife agreed with me- I should demand a raise or quit on the spot.

I might just do that.

I really like Lemon scented Pledge. I use it everywhere, makes a great aftershave too.

If you think you have to pull/muscle to do that, I say go for it. Is there anyone under you that could potentially take your place? That would be the only thing I would worry about, someone else that could step up if your out..

I wrap the air intake/sensors/anything electric in plastic and spray dirty areas down with simple green. I then go over everything with a rag and warm soapy water. As long as you cover up the electrical stuff well, hit it GENTLY with a hose.

You can trust my method. It's not like I've ever had electrical problems or anything like that.

In all seriousness, take your time and thoroughly wrap everything that you don't want getting wet. Were you serious about the whole Fabreze thing?

I never wrap anything and hit all of it with a powerwasher. I just did it last night actually. My car smelled funny from Josh having everything out of it, and I spilled some coolant yesterday. I haven't had a problem yet from doing things that way..

Ben's method is probably better though.

I can say this with 110% no one will be able to take my place. in fact the IT dept will fail for a good year without me.

No, I wasn't serious about that. But I've heard it done the way you describe, sounds safe enough. I just need to take car of the engine more.

This is sick:

Ben that really sucks. I had a feeling they would try and blame the problem on anything non-OEM that they could. I'm curious to see what these tricks you have are.

I'm too scared to wash my engine but it needs it badddd.

James, careful with that ultimatum, I've had that blow up in my face once before and I've also seen another person have the same thing happen to them. All I'm saying is have a plan B in place, like another job lined up, before you tell them I want a raise or I'll quit.
