I did that years ago. It made a huge improvement in the engine bay.

Cool. It wasn't hard but I wish I had went with a nicer battery box. I got a plastic boat one. It works but it doesn't have the bling factor and I can't powdercoat plastic.

Yeah I really do want to put the battery in the trunk. I saw one on here that I searched. Looked pretty badass. Then, that way I can get baller intercooler piping, a silicon intake, and a perfect fitting synapse bov.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't see the advantage to running a battery in the back.

I would just assume run a smaller one up front, similar to what you have. I wouldn't bother trying to relocate it to the rear, esp if your just going to shove it off to one side anyways. If you were to run it in the spare compartment then maybe.. I don't see an advantage to it if your going to just shift the weight to one side of the trunk though. Maybe if you could corner balance the car to offset the difference..

you could shift the battery to help better balance the car for fata$$'s like me haha. ive thought about doing this for years, never have.

and chu those are still happening as well. i only have a few more months to spend money like an idiot. after the 1 year mark, the firm starts contributing to the 401k, stock options etc so I will have to become more focused on my financials.

boss lady (boss's boss, decent nice) just came in and said you should be done your work because your productivity is at 101%, you can leave now to go skiing if you want. hey boss, fyi, just because your numbers say im at 101, doesnt mean im finished my damn wrk.

vt in like 18 hrs ftw!

Not always for the weight savings. For some people who want to run the short route uicp, while maintaining a full size battery, relocating to the trunk is an option. I, for one, wish I could retain a full size battery and keep my uicp, but I don't like relocating. In Carson's case, the battery seem to limit room needed for that enormous Synapse bov...

the biggest downfall with moving the battery IMO is that if you ever plan to do anything except street race you'll need to install a cut-off switch in the rear of the car in order to pass a tech inspection. that usually requires drilling a hole somewhere in the body of the car and maybe even placing one of those CUT-OFF stickers on there.
