Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
that sounds incredibly gay... just sayin'
$130, Yikes! A case of Racer 5 should be $40-$50. A sixtel is two and a half cases. You do the math.
You may still be able to score a Nugget Nectar Sixtel, and It should be <$100. A great bang for the buck sixtel is Manayunks California Dreamin' Double IPA. You can pick up a real fresh sixtel from the brewery for $50 or $60. For $130 you could probably get a Sculpin sixtel.

i kicked sri's *** out of here for debating everything.
(sri I know you're reading this. i know ya'll injun b!tches be mad crazy....i saw slum dog millionaire!)
no
Are you taking a stab at me biotch?
I'm no expert, and I don't try to give advice...I resist at least. But in this case, I agree with Marc. Try sanding down the rotors with 100 grit sand paper (both sides), and then rebed the pads. Pad deposit can also lead to brake shudder, giving the feeling of a warped rotor. For street driving, I don't think you heat up the rotors enough to even cause warpage. Also, like Marc said, torque everything! That is all...

also apparently use of sandpaper on rotors leaves a layer of silica on the surface. a brush and brake cleaner is best. i believe what i read, shoot me b!tches!!!
Am I pushing by offering a set of pads I have at home he could borrow.
As I told you in the texts, besides the RB stuff, EBC, Ferrodo, and Satisfied GS5 have all had good reviews on here. The Axxis Ultimates are great, but they can be loud at times. The RB ET-500, Satisfied GS5, and EBC are all within the same price range. The Ferrodos are about $100 more for a car-set, and dust more.
For the sake of being fair, Dan does not like his RB ET-500 pads. By his account, they don't offer enough bite for what he wants out of the brakign system. This is why I keep saying brakes are subjective. Just because one person likes them, doesn't mean the next guy will. For most people on here who only see dd and autox, its kind of a waste of money running an expensive race pads. Just remember, better bite usually have the trade-off of rotor ware, noise, or corrosive dust.

i really can't say i'm a fan of et500s. they really need some heat built up in them to get them to stop. who knows? maybe my rotors have too much old material on them. all i know is i want my evo to stop like my corolla.
oh snap.
i got me one today after finishing the last one. good stuff.

Hi Dan! Good Luck!
