For a street pad, he's going to say ET500's.

I think I've seen a couple of sets of DS2500's for sale lately. You might get some noise with those though, but they offer better stopping power from what I understand.

I am asking Chu to post his brake pad reccomendation in this thread please.
As I told you in the texts, besides the RB stuff, EBC, Ferrodo, and Satisfied GS5 have all had good reviews on here. The Axxis Ultimates are great, but they can be loud at times. The RB ET-500, Satisfied GS5, and EBC are all within the same price range. The Ferrodos are about $100 more for a car-set, and dust more.

For the sake of being fair, Dan does not like his RB ET-500 pads. By his account, they don't offer enough bite for what he wants out of the brakign system. This is why I keep saying brakes are subjective. Just because one person likes them, doesn't mean the next guy will. For most people on here who only see dd and autox, its kind of a waste of money running an expensive race pads. Just remember, better bite usually have the trade-off of rotor ware, noise, or corrosive dust.

Maybe you should give your honest opinion since you're running them?

$130, Yikes! A case of Racer 5 should be $40-$50. A sixtel is two and a half cases. You do the math.

You may still be able to score a Nugget Nectar Sixtel, and It should be <$100. A great bang for the buck sixtel is Manayunks California Dreamin' Double IPA. You can pick up a real fresh sixtel from the brewery for $50 or $60. For $130 you could probably get a Sculpin sixtel.
