The low down on Island dragway last night, the Civic had lost a rubber piece from his shifter cable and had a slight fuel leak, so dude ran a 12.5 anyways grinding every gear shifting with no clutch, NICE. Cy ran an 11.9 and the 350 z ran a 13.5. Cy getting into the elevens is impressive, I will have my work cut out for me this Autox season.

Corey is Co Driving Cy's Evo for the entire year local and national events. I am thinking to just run BSP now too because they are running, I have never beaten Corey head to head in Autox when we are in same class.

I actually met up with Simmons to day and he gave me a ride in the Civic, all problems were fixed this morning prior to my ride. Let me just say that car is stupid fast. I mean it actually scared me and I had to remind Simmons I have a child and not to kill me! That friqqin car launchs so hard its not even funny. He caught me off guard the first time he launched it and the car slammed my head into the seat, slammed I say! I was basically just laughing during the ride the car is so fast. With all that said, I think I could give him a race, but in the end his car should take me.... His power to weight ratio is ridic!

On to my car now, all my problems are cured!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Peteyturbo was on point with his suggestion to check plug gaps. Let just say I was over 30 on every plug WTF! I am a tard, a year and a half with a car breaking up under load and it was stupid *** spark plugs! First thing I did today was pull the fuel pump, the filter bag was a little dirty and it turned orange color from its normal white. I sprayed some brake clean, it didn't do **** to clean filter thought. Then I pulled the plugs and started cracking up when I saw what the plugs were gapped at. Even better, one of the metal contacts on my plugs some how fell off, so 1 plug was not even making correct fit to spark plug cap. So went out bought new spark plugs, gapped them all to a conservative 22 and bang, all problems are gone. No breaking up what so ever, I tried to make it happen and could not get it to miss once! I am so friqqin happy that the missing under load is gone, it should improve my car alot on the Autox course! Adam says about 2 hours to complete tuning and I should have my car Wed.

i also have to give Adam props, all the time he spent ****in around with my car and being stumped why it was doing what it was doing. He assumed I gapped plugs right, never assume anything when it comes to me and cars, lesson learned.

Let me do a quick tally of $ I wasted on this breaking up problem, fuel rail, Sparktech COP, Aeromotive FPR and craploads of C16 fuel wasted on my stupidity! I think I spent about $1000 on **** that did NOT need to be done. My own fault stupid is as stupid does.... I think I am moving in the right direction now to some Autox success this year....

**** this is a long post, Fineberg OUT! (drinking some Dogfish Head 60 min IPA, mmm)

How it works!

(1) High and Low Beams

(2) Guess what this is. But this picture still doesn't help me understand how it works.

The awd civic, had some shifting issues as well, but obviously has potential to run faster then it did.
Heard there was an evo who ran 10.5, anybody know who it was?
The 10.5 Evo is one of Sean Ivey's customer. The car ran 10.5 and 10.6 last night at Island dragway.

Few comments:
-The civic is awesome, and looks like a blast to drive let alone get a ride in. Can't wait to see it at warminster autoX this season.
-Curious what turbo Cy is running but considering weight reduction, it already being an RS, and a few power mods the time makes sense. It's a shame it broke in the one video i saw.
-I always change plugs, or at least look at them if i ever have a problem that would somehow relate to them. Kinda funny it was something so simple, but the other mods you purchased trying to fix will only help in the long run. It's fixed, should run awesome this season, so put it all behind ya and enjoy it.

I'll say that's a 300 hp loss. Pete gave me a print out of the 745 hp pull. I made 450hp 650tq at 3500 rpms.

608awhp on pump is no joke. Def needs some quality videos taken. Maybe I'll catch him at a track this season.

glad you got all the issues worked out Mike. its always the little things that bite you in the a$$ your car is going to be tuff to beat... this is going to be an interesting season for sure. can't wait for next week!

Congrats on getting de-tuned danimal. now you need to try and use some of that new found power, but use it for good, not for evil.

in other news I'm all set for a day of flogging @ thunderbolt tomorrow. forecast is looking sweet and the car is packed up and ready to go @ 5am. if anyone feels like taking a road trip feel free to stop by. I'll be one of two EVO's in a sea of kraut wagons (porsches) & american iron, atleast it will make for some interesting footage.
