I believe he did buy a new kart, but I'm not sure. Its hard to keep up with all the swapping he does.

Thanks! 15mm is based on feedback from Adam and others that run these wheels for autox. They better fit!

Cool. I'll talk to Adam and see what he can do.

Aaron, keep in mind the center bore diameter for those Enkie's is larger than OEM... so a spacer made for those wheels will not fit OEM.

I run those wheels for street and autox, I use a 20mm spacer, 15mm no bueno.

I can't run oem wheels anyway. Stoptech's require a 18" minimum. I can run the +27 nt03's up front with no spacer and have plenty of clearance. A +38 rpf1 with a 15mm spacer is effectively +23. The spokes are a different shape, but hopefully it's enough to clear. Chu might be my savior though .

Oh...you didn't mention the car had different brakes. Maybe 15mm WILL work. Here's my experience with both sets of wheels, running stock Brembos:

NT03: 18x9.5 +27 requires 10mm spacers in front. This setup runs 255 tires, and minor rolling in back

RPF1 : 17/18 x 9.5 +38 requires 20mm spacers in front. Runs up to 285 with rolling in the back.

I take it those StopTechs give more outter clearance, which is why you're not running spacers on the NT03, and only need +15mm for the RPF1. In any case, I will bring my 20mm spacers for you in case you need them!

Interesting. Didn't know the nto3 needed a 10mm on stock brakes.

If you need a 20mm on a 9.5" wide rpf1, it would make sense that a 10" wide would only need 15mm. 0.5"=12.7mm. From the wheel centerline, it would be 6.35mm wider in each direction, meaning the spokes would be 6.35mm farther from the brakes. 20mm-6.35=13.65mm ... round to 15mm spacer.

Of course, this is all theoretical. The real test is on the car this weekend. Knowing the stoptech's seem to give a little extra room, I feel better

you going to run SM or T-SM? I would do T-SM if I were you, that way you'll be classed with people who are on the same type of tire.

I'll eventually get it back on the track. For now, my motorsports goal is to become competitive in a national SM field (tours and pros) and eventually trophy at Nats.

If everyone that was on a street tire ran t-sm, the sm field would be like 2-3 cars.. just sayin.

Esp if your not campaigning your car.

i don't care enough to do that.

you're probably uncomfortable running the same class as me this season.

i'm going to rape each course with my 75psi turbo spool and 200 shot of nos.
