We had the Tribecca for 3 years, it was fine no problems at all. The outback is on the same frame as the legacy. The dealer said its basically the same car except for ride height and suspension differences.

what a great time today, hope everyone had as much fun as me i don't think I've ever enjoyed getting beat in my own car so much before. the fact that i was able to stay within striking distance of Aaron's EVO makes me feel good. still have a lot of stuff to work on but I'm excited about the next event already.

My random thoughts this Sunday afternoon:

Aaron's car is pretty much is set up and Autox ready, all he had to do was buy the car (for way less than what I have into mines) and a set of Hoosier's? WTF, it took me 5 years, an obscene amount of $ and my car is only marginally better than his...WTF - BTW Thanks again Aaron it was a great time today that I did not expect to have, you the man.

Course was great today, I loved all those sweepers. Nothing is better in an Evo than on-throttle steering, love having that bish floored and the *** end coming around totally in control.....its my happy place! There was also some challenging pinch spots, like the 3 turns before the finish. If you were not looking ahead and not braking early on this course you paid the price, really hammered it home. I totally got caught fixating on the gate/cone that I was coming up on and not looking ahead, Aaron totally screamed at me to slow down and not blow bye a right turn, totally ignored him and was 10' off the cone. That was the right before the 2 lefts to the finish, I never did that right until the last run which ended up being my fast time. The crossovers from lot to lot were much fun too, we were really hammering it through there.

Chu's car is fast, I noticed that when I rode along, it was really apparent in the slalom at beginning of course. Dude you need some R-compounds NOW, in fact you all do. Chu - maybe an Evolution School and then bam top 10 in PAX with your car if you can get suspension and yourself sorted.

My car is supposedly getting done by Wed. so I will be ready for next weekend. There are 2 events at the Meadowlands, Sat is NNJ and Sunday is PCA. I am thinking of headed up there on Sunday if my car is good. Any of you f-a-g-s want to come up too? That is if there are no HPDE's or whatever going on because I know they are more fun Meadowlands courses are as good or better than CBP usually.

Awesome time today! I'm glad my car made it into the 73's it's first time out on hoosiers... Even if I wasn't the driver . Looks like Marc and I will be having a nice driver battle this year. I'm curious to see how far we got knocked back in PAX, but it was fun being on top for at least a run or two

 

Not sure if I'll make it to nnjr this time, but I want to get there once before the pro.

today was a blast. i owe tim big time for letting me use a few months of tires.

i'm happy with how i ran today. although i wasnt the fastest i definitely feel like i redeemed my reputation that i helped maintain at dover.

i found it funny that everyone was saying that i ran better today because i wasn't driving my car. to me, it was the course. i planned to take it way easy on tim's car and just be happy to be out there. i would have driven my car just as hard if not harder.

also tim's car felt good. there are some things i wish he had that i have but then i feel wish i had some things he has.

 

I hardly remember any of my times mostly because I was having a lot of fun being out there with everyone and I got lost on the course too much to figure out how to go faster. Glad the clouds stuck around I don't need to get any more sun.

Chau you drive like your in video game, I don't know how you manage to do that fancy chit with the wheel. It was fun riding shot-gun on one of your fastest times.

Dan, congrats on bringing your A game! Tim wipe your tears, your car will be fine.

Today was definitely a lot of fun. The course was huge, leaving me to wonder why we don't do more events there. Highlights of today: Mike likes the *** around, and he yells out "slow down," and "get on it." You're a pretty sweet dude Mike. I'll definitely use you again in the future. Best part though...mini-bar per Daniel's trunk.
