Its June 16th-17th w/Schattenbaum PCA if anyone is interested in signing up. cost is $280 for both days if you're a PCA member or $310 if you're not.
Its $340 for non-pca members instructed, which everyone on here would be minus you Marc. Just want everyone to be clear on the cost, so they aren't confused if/when they register.

There are going to be 3 evos reg for Lightning (Pete, Chu & Dan) and none of them are me, lol. I'm glad you guys are getting into it but I just wish I was able to make an event with you after all the times we've talked about it...

I think Chu is a member, and FYI, if you do two events a year its cheaper to become a member ($45/yr) than not to... just sayin.

Pete, I'm running corn. Robert will be my fuel mule. I guess we will see how well it all goes. I don't think I'll be able to run it at anything longer than a one day event without a place to refill. I could probably run at pocono and find a place up there with e85 though I haven't looked.

Petey T offered up his and Ben's flo and go's. I hope the offer is still open or this is going to get expensive.

Marc, I believe I am the one you've been trying to get on the track the longest. This is long before any of us were posting in the Philly section. I remember I had only 8k miles on the car when we were talking about it. Does that make me an OG or something?

I wish I could remember that thread where you and I first got into it.

Regardless, I hope to hear a full detailed report of the domination that will be had in the Green/Yellow group @ NJMP... and some videos would be cool also.

If anyone has an iphone you can d/l harry's lap timer and get some good data about your laps. Or if you have an iphone4 get the pro version for $14.99 and you'll get video overlayed with data. its pretty cool!

Yeah, I know Chu is a member, I should have clarified... Anyone other than you and Chu, although he should still have an instructor also.

You have an instructor don't you, Chu?

Marc, that thread was by that one guy that used to work for Works. Last I saw him, he was driving the Dallara (Mcdonalds sponsored) Ford daytona prototype in the Rolex series at njmp last year. Pretty nice gig.

Before that he was driving BMWs for Turner motorsports in the Koni challenge series.

I wish I were a race car driver!

Your first session won't be bad, but after that your going to use damn near 2/3 of a tank a session for sure. I was gonna have to come in early my last session at lightning, but luckily it was a short one anyways and I got the checkers right before I had to stop. I was down to just under a quarter tank.. Had to put a few gallons of **** 92 in it to get to avalon.

I guess we shouldn't be running lower than a quarter tank out there eh?

I said before that I don't care if I have go home on pump gas. I think I should have enough for the whole event. My only concern is not making it through an entire session and in that case it would be a lesson learned but still not a catastrophe.

Pete are you going to take an instructor with you or are you seeing if you can run solo? I'm sure you're going to be fine out there by yourself but you will learn a heck of a lot more if you have someone in the seat next to you.

Dan, I remember that now... pretty funny stuff.

Do you have the capability to run dual maps? Yeah, I wouldn't run lower than 1/4 tank.
