It was great running with PCA and the other 6 Evo's. Dan's driving was night and day from the first session to the last. He was driving like a like a scared little girl in the first session but by the last session I was calling him DK

You and I have almost the exact same line & shift points except I'm keeping it in 4th thru that left hander under the bridge while you grab third.
I told you to only spray the 200 shot going into the turns, not on the straight.

I was slammed with tons of info in one day. Watching this video I see you giving me advice that I was getting until now. My goal for next event which will likely be at the same track is to get into 4th on braking at the end of the straight (I was thinking I had to heel toe and told me to get 4th each time I went through there. I didn't realize until the end that I could grab it as the rpms dropped without touching the throttle) and getting 5th after the ski jump turn and doing the same to grab 4th at the left hander. Shifting like that alone would make me much faster and smoother. Also another more simple goal will be to corkscrew down the lightbulb to the apex while throttling out harder to hopefully hit 140ish in the straight.
Thanks again. My next time out should be a lot faster if I can do what I have planned. Hopefully you'll be around for my next trip out there.

I would love to move up to the red group with you guys but I thought with PCA you need to get testest and certified to be an instructor?

i didn't know the R8 ran in two different run group, wonder if it was two different driver or the instructor taking his student out.
Mite swing by warminster tomorrow and see what you guys are up to for this season. Haven't been to a autoX in a while. Don't really feel like standing in a down pour but a lite drizzle or on and off would warrant a appearance.
ps. finally cracked the STOCK longblock on bsander's sandbox and it was 100% never opened or touched like he claimed. lmao
10.6 pass with multiple other high 10s, multiple 130mph+ trap speeds, 33psi, e85, with around 55k on it lookin to be in great shape. Maybe petey will have more info. Some pics were posted on facebook and videos were taken of the tear down. Have to get some time and work out posting up info if necessary.

I might do a TT sometime to try it out but I have no idea how competative my car will be or what class. also how much is it and how much seat time do you get usually?

Marc, tim took me out for his session but had to run in black because they didn't want students riding along in an open passing class.

Autox was cool. Weather was nasty early, but it dryed out and the rain held off. Course was fast, all up on the limiter in 2nd, turnaround was tricky and that lead into a tough slalom with an off-set cone. On my last run, I over cooked it getting in to that slalom and I think I tapped the brakes while the car was still transitioning, sending me spinning off into the grass. My first spin, and def my first trip into the grass. My best was my 3rd on a 51.7

Can someone explain this EMRA event in July to me? I'm looking at the schedule and can't figure out when someone like me, an inexperienced driver, would be driving. To me, it looks like the Sunday 31st.
