This bin laden stuff is so ridiculous. His being killed means nohing and does nothing to improve situations. We simply had a beef with one guy within a large network of command and we killed him. Big woop! This isn't WWII where the mindset was if you killed hitler the war was over and everyone got to go home to and make babies/buy tv's and cars.

Having people chanting "USA" only makes us look bad and obnoxious.

I agree 100% BUT you have to realize that people need tangibility. If something like this gives people hope and reason to celebrate, then so be it. Its just how I view religion. While I dont necessarily believe in a higher deity, I can see why people need a reason to embody faith.

If the death of obl can give a handful of people some solace, I'm all for it baby!

It's just a government exercise to gain approval of spending more money for the war on oil while improving the president's approval rating to set himself up for a reelection.

It's all political strategy used to manipulate people who can't see what's really going on. What about all the crisis in northern Africa and our unnecessary involvement there? Funny how it takes a backseat. Wha we are doing there is like me barging and beating josh's wife down to help him win an argument so that he can work on my car over the weekend. I had no business if their fight other than the benefit of my gain from him helping me out (ok bad analogy).

Also another funny thought is that when the terrorist attacked us in 2001, the Muslim community cheered and chanted "Allah u ahkbar" (god is great) then we kill Osama bin laden and people are singing "god bless America". I guess this God that everyone worships teaches you not to kill people unless that person is an infidel or terrorist. Idk.

I'm not religious or really into politics. I'm into social awkwardism so I made it a point to discuss politics and religion in one post.

not to change the subject or anything but I found a great video of a guy @ thunderbolt. he has several cameras including one setup to watch his feet. Its really cool to see what he is doing and where.

those going there in May can pick up a lot from the video about where & when to brake along with where and when to start feeding in the throttle. I'm going to try a couple new things out next time I'm there. my goal is to hit a 1:32.xx on star specs. I think I can do it but it isn't going to be easy by any means.

Oh Mark-
I took my old VG off my car this weekend since it cracked over the winter (I think snow melted under it and froze again).
well the VG which was put on with 3M double sided tape left a line across the roof and rubbed enough on the side the paint is down to the primer.
I'll have to put my other one on definately or repaint my roof ...
