Dan I hear you are stock piling E85 in your garage.. If you bought it from Allentown Service Center I would take 20 gallons from you before Friday if you need to sell. LMK
If not I am making a trip up if anyone needs me to grab some, just get me a container to transport it.

Hyperfest is on the same weekend. it's on the June 17/18 Friday and Saturday and then Race/TimeTrials on Sunday June 19. it's the closest tract to me, about 1.5 hour drive.

had an 'oh ****' moment today at thunderbolt while blasting down the straight at near 130. I went to brake/heel-toe into T1 but the side of my shoe was still partially on the gas. The result was me not slowing down enough and ultimately not being able to make the turn.

overall today was 'blah'. I don't think I'm going to be running with NNJR again. For what was supposed to be an "advanced day" people were not watching their mirrors and nobody would let me by. I felt like it was an inside joke and I was on the outside. there was a ton of seat time but I spent a lot of it behind slower cars. when I eventually did get some open track I was so frustrated from dealing with being stuck behind traffic that I couldn't even concentrate and enjoy the moment. bitter sweet I guess.

I did have one good session at the very end of the day. played cat and mouse with a 135i race car on hoosiers. we spent about 4 laps passing each other back and forth. I was pretty cool and since almost everyone had left by that time so we had the whole track to play on.

thats all I got, I'm beat. Gotta wake up at 4:30am and do it all over again tomorrow @ lightning... boohoo me.

Marc will be Lighting expert. What was your lap time on friday.
oh man, I'm sorry to hear you're bored of Lightning, I love that track. its very simple so I can see how it would be boring if you've done it a lot but I keep finding subtle things here and there that make it more interesting each time I go.

best time on friday was 16.08 according to the harry's lap timer... I'm pissed there is no video of that lap cause the app only records everyother video and that one was one of the 'other' ones. oh well. at least I still have the data from it.

I'm planning on that Schattenbaum event next and hopefully the thunderbolt event with Trackdaze Thai mentioned.

dood you're nuts. ditch the corn already and just get pump gas like the rest of us. if you want a little extra insurance throw a couple gallons of 100oct or even 110leaded in the tank and call it a day. no need hauling all that ****
around... just sell it off to Mike.

hauling it around wasn't that big of a deal for me. luckily i had robert and chu carting some around for me.

it was nice on friday. my fuel station was open all day long. i guess once i start getting faster and using more i'd have no choice.

what was great was that as i burned off my partial winter blend and added more throughout the day, it started smelling more and more pure.

as i turned onto west chester pike near west chester, pete tiebout comes out of nowhere saying "i thought i smelled you!"

nah, i need a fresh tune. fixed a few boost leaks, added a different intake, and also added a 3 port. theres no way im stepping near a track without a retune, let alone doing a 3rd gear pull.
