Its MUCH more involved than just that... As you can tell by the pic, you can't even see the sidewalk in the backround, its steep boy... I would have to lower my gargage floor by a foot or two to be able to take some of the slope out. I'm sure doing that would cause issues with something else then too. Its a no win situation really...

I feel ya. My first house had a two car garage (more like barn), but the entrance was on like a 2:1 slope. I could get my 82 CJ7 up there no problem, but had to build wooden ramps for my GTI. Getting in and out was like a 20 min process.

Yea, I already saw it. That was wicked. It's amazing to think he only had a few broken bones at 200+ mph going airborn.
