Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
word. 107k here with lots of high RPM action and the stock motor hasn't skipped a beat.
o2 is not bad at all. seriously, you should get used to it, they seem to go every couple of years. If you do an aftermarket o2 housing you can swap them w/o removing anything but the manifold heat shield.
yes we are members. I think it was $90 for the family membership. In order to save some cash we had my inlaws open bank accounts using our address. Doing that shows proof of residency and lets them add on to our family account for only a dollar! I don't think there is an age limit for the pool.
^ there you go.
other news for me, the issue I was having was not in fact with the plugs (there clean) its my front 02 sensor begining to go out. Running super rich and getting terrible MPG. not exactly a cheap OEM part and it looks to be a PITA to install. wohoo very excited about that one.
josh your not free tomorrow correct? only thursday u said...?

I can't make it but don't worry about it. The wife works late today. Don't get the OEM sensor, get the universal one from Autozone/Pep Boys etc. It's $60, not the $300 or so for the OEM. It's this guy right here. I've run one for a few years. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...&parentId=42-0
A guy I work with got his Stang flashed yesterday at a place in Coatesville. He used some store bought programmer (diablo maybe), the car is an 99' (auto), intake, cat-back, I think thats it... His baseline pull was 308whp, all said and done he made 397whp, no torque reading apparently, in 1hr dyno time and only cost $75. He's all happy about it and I hate to rain on his parade but there is NO WAY!
I'm gonna get them to tune my car!
I told him we need to go to the track so he can back that number up with a trap speed, 400whp should trap what 115mph?

I'm saying a car that only makes 225hp (at the crank) from the factory isn't making almost 400whp with intake/exhaust and a pepboys flash. I wanna see what Josh's car would make over there, 750whp maybe? He'd be in Dan's hp range then...
BTW, you got a pm Chuster.

hey chu, thanks for the comment smarta$$. i was looking more for specifics like where on the 02 housing, underside, left, right, easy to see, stuff like that. ya big jerk
josh thanks for the heads up. youve been running it without any problems? the OEM is stupid expensive so another alternative would be great. thanks for the link bud!

its connected to the turbo. looking at the front of the car with hood open you can see the o2 wire running from the left side of the valve cover to the sensor. if you are still rocking the OEM heat shield the o2 sensor wire is clamped to it.
^ see now thats what i was looking for! thanks man, yes I am still sporting the heat shield so I will go take a look now. It appears to be a pretty easy swap, makes me feel a lot better, bc the car is running like crap and MPG is in the basement.
I agree with pete. Sounds like you're talking about a v6 mustang right? There s no way.
My stepfather has an 08 GT with throttle body, headers, x pipe, hfc, catback and intake. I'd be surprised if he cracks much more than 300whp with a tune. They're 300 at the crank from the factory.

Just kidding Chau... glad to see its on the road. Now order some wheels and throw those steelies in the dumpster.
