Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Pete, are you still bringing any cars out to the dynojet on sunday? I know ben is kinda up in the air cause of the wisdom teeth deal, but i wasn't sure who else you had in mind.
For anybody else thats interested and isn't AutoX'ing, PSI PROformance in Lansdale is holding a dyno day sunday the 16th. $50 for 4 pulls & air fuel on a dynojet. Very relaxed atmosphere, you can drive your own car if capable, and there will be a good showing of diverse cars. I have a few friends that should be dynoing and there is always walk ups and others who i don't know that are dynoing. Starts at 10am i believe, so get there earlier as possible since its first come first serve.

The shop is pretty cool and laid back. We could always do a mini-meet there and let them know ahead of time. They do dyno day/group special pricing as long as you get 3 or 4 people to dyno. I've went there multiple times with friends this way.
it's interesting how there are so many different opinions about viii/ix vs. x
you have the above and then you have people like pete tiebout standing in my driveway saying "nothing goes around a corner faster than a X."
this is just a comment. i am not trying to start a huge debate.

for cereal though, notice in my post I didn't say anything about it being fast. there is always something faster or quicker out there.
more importantly, IMO, it comes down to the driver of said vehicle. One of the reason I really like my VIII is because its the last generation of EVO's that doesn't have an ACD, ASC or AYC. all those things IMO are driving band-aids and come between the raw experience of the car and driver. not to take anything away from the X at all, or any of the other platforms. no doubt the X is a very good handling package, mitsu did a great job engineering all those components to work so well together and it does move around a track very quickly in the right hands. I have no delusions about the fact that is probably quicker around a track then a comparably prepped VIII or even a IX with the same caliber of talent behind the wheel. however, when it comes to driving a car around a track quickly, I prefer to be the one telling the car what I want it to do, not a computer. kind of the same reason I never really cared for slushboxes when I drag raced. sure they are very fast and consistant, but in my mind there is something to be said for manually bangin gears, instead of just smashing the right pedal and holding on to the wheel. not trying to start a heated topic either, these are just my opinions.

thanks again ya'll for the warm wishes on lil Lincoln.
how dare you suggest a X is even in the same class as an VIII/IX

So happy the home buyer tax credit went away.
Now if only it stays that way for at least the next 12 months.
