Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
oh hi there.
in other news I ordered the last round of parts for the e30. I'm about $500 into it so far not including tires and driveline fluids. Everything is coming along nicely, I should have her back on the road next week sometime.

RIP Spiderman.

Im still angry at you for buying this e30 ... we were going to build a miata together.
My dreams have been dashed upon the rock.

Not sure for tires yet but more than likely I get 205/55/14 star specs.
you're welcome to co-drive anytime you want mr. co-driver.
it will be cool when this car is HPDE worthy and some of you guys are out there on the road course with me... I wanna see if I can get around your EVO's in my 160hp momentum car.
All seasons of course, but in very good shape. The wheels are probably the wrong offset, and i think 195 is the widest tire that can be mounted (though maybe 205 is possible)
the upside is that the wheels weigh ~11lbs each

yeah, ima bada$$.
this is also why i put a rollbar on the miata, i got a lot less "thats a girls car" comments afterwards.
no doubt. a decent driver in an EVO should be no match for a stock e30. I looked up some of the spec e30 & NASA track records and they're a little slower than what I'm used to. Lightning is a 1:20 and TB is a 1:38.
who knows, maybe this car will see some TT action next year.

I would think doing a 1:20 at Lightning in an E30 would be hailing the mail... Not sure what all can be done in a "spec" E30, I'm sure a decent amount of upgrades, but that doesn't sound that slow to me.
You need to buy some bigger wheels btw, 14's just aint gonna cut it.

mostly maint stuff. Timing belt, water pump, gaskets and things to make the car reliable. you have to do the timing belt every 4yrs/60k which ever comes first and since the PO stopped driving the car in '08 if figured it was time. I was seriously worried the belt was going to let go as I pulled it into the garage. I was very happy when I finally had it in there. I also ordered new OEM replacement struts since it was on the original blown 200k mile units.
