Nice. Is that because you realized power wasn't going to make you faster?

no because Chu lowered it initially thinking it was my MBC causing the boost cut.

Better to run less boost out on track anyways... No need to stress the car more than you already are. I run 24 on the street, and go down 1 round on the MBC for tracking to about 21.

the only annoying thing was that on straights my car made less power so people in front of me wouldn't point me by when they were pulling away out of a corner.

It did cause quite the flash on initial impact. It took a while for the fire to get going, but once it did, it was on. The guy in the safety car was certainly shaken up. I am sure he never expected to get hammered by a car doing 100+.
mph

Does that mean you turn boost up for AutoX? That's what I do.

I think they did a good job putting together the video, but I was thinking this could be Jackass the whole time. I just want to laugh.

Found my engine noise. It was caused by a o2 housing bolt that backed out. Its completely gone. Now sure how that could happen; I ran the car for as long as the turbo has been on with no issues. Guess I was dominating pretty hard on Sunday!

^ glad you found and fixed it.

same thing happened to me a few years back @ shenandoah. I think I even posted a pic back in the OLD philly meet thread of a bunch of us all working on the car in the hotel parking lot. That was before all you fools got bit by the HPDE bug so it was probably overlooked as random crazyness from me.

Yeah, at the track, Vinh was saying it sounded like a leaking exhaust. I tried to look for it, but it was the lower one near the head. I've had the turbo since March/April of last year, and it happens now! WTF... Even used new OEM crush washer and bolts!
