I think the the walls of your garage made it sound louder than it really is. On that note, is it me, or has your exhasut note gotten louder. I was thinking about it on Saturday that it was louder than I had remembered.

I find it interesting the only person wearing the seatbelt was the youngest one in the car. Bright kid.

I highly doubt it.

Exhaust has gotten a lot louder over the last year or so. I wouldn't call it "loud", but its louder than it was. I've thought about some sort of muffler or resonator where the test pipe is, but I think about a lot of things..

I was hoping for some real time support on this one..

For the record, I'm more than happy with my car. Don't want poeple thinking otherwise.

Holy **** that's where I bought my Evo! That really sucks. The area around that dealership is all fields and a major roadway. There's potential to hit some serious high speeds.

I thought it sounded a bit louder than before. Mine has also gotten a bit louder...or maybe i'm getting used to it, so it sounds louder. I've got a new exhaust in the works for spring, and a resonated test pipe to go along in case its still too loud for my liking.

As for the exhaust getting louder, I'm pretty sure that's normal. Obviously over time the packing inside the mufflers/resonators wears down. My exhaust has definitely gotten louder since i bought it. I have a new resonator installed so it sounds nice again.

I've noticed the same thing and have been thinking about getting something to quiet the car down. I'm also getting tired of the fart-can look my exhaust has and want something more grown up looking.
