What warranty company is your warranty written by? It can likely be honored at any shop or dealer. Check to see if the selling dealer must do the work, or whether they give you a smaller deductible.
Working at a dealer I've dealt with more than a few aftermarket warranty companies. They are not all created equal. Some are very fair, and work in an expedient manner. Others are borderline crooks. Usually the contracts that dealers sell are more legit than the warranty companies that solicit you with direct mailers.
One thing that will greatly help you, is having a service writer that is willing to go to bat for you. We sometimes had to fight the warranty companies tooth and nail in order to get a repair covered. If your writer could care less, your chances of coverage will lesson. The service department of the dealer that sold the contract also may prefer that the warranty company deny the claim. For example, an aftermarket warranty company may only authorize 10 hours on a job that would call for fifteen. The selling dealer will typically eat the difference, while another shop may want to charge you the difference.
With all that said, definitely take it back to stock and don't leave any signs of previous modifications. On a claim above $1,000, every aftermarket warranty company will send out a guy to look over the car.

^ remember that question you asked me the other day... all of a sudden my car is now idling @ 2k when I cold start it. Not consistantly, but it did it last night and this morning. Way to jinx me man!!
In other news I reached my goal of a 31.x @ LVGP last night. Granted it was only a 31.993, but it was a 31 none the less. I also had the pleasure of beating Adam and Iman almost every session. That alone was worth the price of admission.

^^^I dare say its a V7 thing...I have the same issue. It's random, but it happens, and then goes down to normal.
In other news, the Camry is acting up. PO300 Random Misfire, PO301-306 (misfiring every cylinder), and PO356 Coil Pack...discuss. I have no idea where to begin.

mine is @ 2k RPM too, lol. Funny thing is that when its stupid cold, like close to freezing, it will start and idle fine. Only when its in the 50's will I get the high idle and only on a cold start.
I'm sure the solution is out there, we just need to find it.

I don't know about the temp range, since I've only been on V7 for like 2 days and only 1 cold start. Will find out today. Def need to find a solution and the sooner the better.
