how about pink. That would be different... and you could always say you're a breast cancer survivor.

I'm about to leave the RS at Cherry Hill. They've been looking at it since 8am. There is a fried harness, and the wiper module is fried. They're not quite sure what to do with it, and they are waiting to hear back from Mitsubishi on how to proceed.

Now I get to go dig my Audi out of a snow mound.

bummer. hopefully mitsu will accept at least some responsibility. If its a known issue, you probably have a good chance.

Fortunately, it's still under warranty. The IX's got a 5yr/60k mile new car warranty. I'm at 53k, and my delivery date was 5/06.

i don't want to sound like all those fools that say you should pull out the Magnusson Act or whatever but a fried/weathered harness is a fried/weathered harness. You wouldn't get a fried/weathered harness unless you did a mod called "fried/weathered harness."

it is either a warranty or insurance issue. If the warranty doesn't work out, at least you can confidently say that water got into the electronics from rain and/or snow and damaged the wiring.
