Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Do you guys want to see a few more?
Guys, throwing this out there again...
There are still slots available for the BMW CCA Drivers Education (HPDE) Aug 13th-15th @ NJMP - Lightning course (the same one they just did the Rolex race on a couple weeks ago). I'm signed up with a couple of Porsche buddies. Cost is $250 for one day, $400 for two or $450 for all three.
There is ZERO experience is required, all you need is a mechanically sound car and a desire to learn. You don't need to have anything done to your car, infact the more stock the better. This is not a race, its an High Performance Drivers Education. I've said it before, but its worth repeating, this is the MOST FUN you can have in a car, period!
For $250 you'll likely get between 2-2.5 hours of track time. Thats <$2/per minute of seat time compared to $10-$15 per minute you get at an autox. holla bishes.

i can't wait to see whether i hurt or helped handling at autox. i'm pretty inexperienced so who knows if i'll notice.
marc, you may have just convinced me to come out. maybe even the dad will bring the X out. Wish it was this weekend when I will already be home, but oh well.
havent done something like this since the glen at college and have been itching to get back on the track even though my engine is basically stock aside from a MBC. one you do open track, autoX just isnt "as" fun.
could really use some good learning seat time. Ill prob pm you later when I am not so slammed at work and talk to you about it. thanks for the heads up,
ryan
