today was such a nice day weather-wise. pete t, robert and me hung out outside and BS'd in the driveway. it was adorable that my neighbor felt the need to call the cops on three guys standing outside.

That's hilarious. Pete T. is a shady looking character though, I can appreciate you neighbors' concern. Was it the same people involved in the road rage incident?

In other news, I made my first unassisted landing today.

nice job marc! for those of you that may not know, I got my car started. Thanks to Pete, Chu, Ben, Marc, and Josh. In the end it was the ethanol/pump mix that proved to be too much for the stock injectors to handle. Right now it's running well. I somehow misplaced the hardware to bolt the bumper completely back on so i rigged it up to take a drive. I must say, it was nice having a fast spooling turbo again. Driving the mazda everyday for months made me realize how even a "almost" stock evo boosting on wastegate is still a fast car....haha. Anyways, I hope to give her a few more shake down runs to make sure i didn't miss anything.

Not sure if you all know about my family situation as of late. Daniela is pregnant again and she's do on Sept. 18th. I'm stoked about it and I'm proud to say that both of our children were planned. Over the past couple of months I've been pushing to get out of the house which is why i decided to part out the car and try to sell it. Now that she's pregnant and I'm come to the realization that we can't move out as soon as we thought we decided to keep the car. I honestly don't care about selling the parts to be honest. I now own the car and have title in hand which is exciting plus I don't have to pay that steep car payment anymore!!

There honestly only one thing that I wish I had on my car and that is a nice set of wheels. It's the one thing I've been dying to have since day one. I already have Chu on the street looking for some deals...haha. I hope I haven't bored you guys too much with my long boring post. I'm just excited to be able to drive again!!

Congrats on all accounts. Does this mean more racing? If your bored with the straight line stuff you could always try your hand on autox..

Thanks Pete. I may try my hand at autox this year. I won't make any promises but I would like to try it. There's plenty of you guys around to show me the ropes so it's not like there's anything to figure out.

12.1 @ 113 with just a tune is a very respectable time. I went 12.0 @ 113 with the stock VIII turbo @ 22psi but at that time I had an MBC, tbe, K&N & a tune.

Ben, you've got to come to another PCA event. one of the guys who races in our group is a pilot and has a plane, amoung his other toys. ANyway, he was with me at Atco today and offered to take me for a ride afterwards. I had to decline because I needed to be home, but I told him I knew a guy who might want to take him up on it and he said anytime. He remembered you from when him and Bob were talking with you that weekend you did NJMP. Anyway, later on in the day I got a txt from him and it was an aerial photo of NJMP. Apparently he was flying over 'checking things out' for our first track day, lol. I thought that was pretty f'ing cool.

I'm glad at least one of my suggestions was right! I didn't think the mix was good. Did you end up draining it out?

Tim that sucks. I've been there a few times before and I'm wondering if my 2.4L is knocking as well. If you need a hand or diagnosis let me know. I can at least track it down for you. Hey, I have a built or stock IX motor freshly pulled right here in the garage.

you got it. he got home then stood in his driveway looking at us for a couple minutes then 10-15 minutes later a cop come driving up the street.

i never see cops in my neighborhood so the whole thing was curious. the cop just kept driving obviously because we weren't doing anything wrong.

maybe i'm paranoid but it must be just one big coincidence.

i think these people will call the cops on me if i were having a baby shower at my house. if that does ever happen i plan to send my wife's grandfather out on his walker and say he's the one causing the problems.

At first I thought you were kidding about the whole thing... I bet it was just a coincidence. If your neighbor had called to report something, they would of had to stop and either talk to you or them. There's no way the cops would have just done a drive through.. Your paraniod, lay off the yea-yo.
