the skill of the tech doing the alignment makes a huge difference. Even though it looks simple, alignments really are a black magic.

The fiirst shop I went to could barely hit -2.1, and they didnt quite set the toe correctly. I'm my standing around the shop bossing them around didn't help much

I have a spare. There's no way the old one is going back after all this.

don't forget to coat the new one in anti-seize

So what exactly is in this pile of parts you have sitting at home? I am very tempted to throw on my swaybar today.

rear bar and stout mounts. Not sure if I should though, I like to do mods progressively and haven't quite dialed in the bilsteins.

I haven't gotten them, I think I would like to do both though. From what I've read, yes the rear makes a big difference, but all it really does is get the rear to rotate more. I would like to reduce body roll all together, not just mask it by getting the back to swing around.

Can't tell you all the parts I have, its my little secret. You better watch your back though, cause I'm gonna be kicking your @ss even more this season! Bring it, hippie!

haha. I think the rear bar is pretty simple. I'm hoping i can leave my exhaust on.

The only tricky part is torquing the endlinks with the car on a level surface. If i try it today, I'll post a full report.

yeah, that's what i'm concerned about. Though it did have fineberg's endorsement, so at least for auto-x it may be faster. It will certainly require more throttle discipline from yours truly.

I agree on both accounts. Marc was pushing for me to run NJMP with him on 3/19-20, but that isn't going to happen. I probably wont do my first track day till 5/14-15 at Shenandoah. If I could do 4 td's this year, and all the autox's I wanna attend, I would be happy.

btw, "overmodded" and "my car" do not belong in the same sentance.

not to sound like a fanboi but i am sure marc and chu would agree that the place i was at yesterday could take care of your camber bolt without much drama. chu mentioned having a similar problem and they got it out for him.

but i guess you got to get it out on your own so you could do some of your installs yourself before bringing it somewhere like that.

I completely agree with you. I know if I take my car to RT it will be done, and it will be done right. No doubt.
