Ok, I totally agree and would have taken same line as BMW too. He was tight to first apex so I guess he late apexed that turn, 2nd apex was not necessary to be right on it (like 2'-3' off) in the BOX and then he was tight on corner exit and able to get back on gas early! Bangin, now where is the video of you doing it that way son?!

Mad domination, son! I did have to point-by a E46 M on Hoosiers, I spent the rest of the time chasing him.

18min mark you'll see a Honda CRZ on course, never thought I would see that.

Pete not afraid to pass on inside Grillo!! No fear coming into those corners, you were really moving a few times coming into turns trying to get by whoever, thought you were going to blow the corner more than once. Loved how you ran down the GT3 and the Lotus.
You guys need to edit like Shoe and do some highlights of your session instead of whole 20-30 minutes.

As for me not being to sharp, if needed I can belittle you in many things that would make you feel stupid but there is no need for that. I am here to make friends and learn more about something I love.

Have a good one.
Sarcasium is hard to pick up thru text especially if you don't know someone. I assumed because of your simple questions you were trolling. The fact that you didn't even know what a troll was, or acted like you didn't know, only fueled the fire.

Fair enough, you aren't a troll, but you are still a newb! In order to not be a newb you'll need to attened some events, either autox, hpde or drag, and learn the ways of domination in the EVO. Check out motorsportreg.com for info on whats coming up, or just follow along in here.

You need to just come out to WGI and try to take the bus stop how you think it should be taken. Its easy to sit behind the computer and say you were x feet off the apex when you aren't the one doing 100+ in the car trying to hit that mark lap after lap. Its not as easy as just putting the car there every time, there are other variables that come into play. I know I'm not telling you something you don't already know... so get yo azz out there, foo!

This was only our first 'real' time at this track and the line thru every turn isn't set in stone. I was trying all kinds of different things in various turns trying to feel what worked and what didn't. Just cause you see one video of someone taking a turn a certain way doesn't mean thats how they always do it or that its the right way. Thats whats awesome about this stuff, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

It feels good gettin point-bys from 150k Porsches. Not scared to run in it in deep at all, these cars have monster brakes and mad grip, but you know this, man!
As far as editing, I could edit to where I only pass cars, but showing the whole thing gives you an idea of how the session really went. That was a good one, the BMW I was chasing was parked next to Marc in the garage. He claims he was "taking it easy" that session, yeah, whatever.

I thought it the was Gene's car. He said he's been coming to WGI for 20+ years!! I hope you told him it was your first time and that you were on street tires.

I agree, nothing better than chasing and passing cars that cost 5x more than yours, especially when they're on Hoosiers and you're on regular old street tires!

Ok couple things...

Thai asked me to look at that specific turn that BMW was taking and said that is his preferred line.. bish I totally agree, cool your jets Senna. I am coming for your azz, no worries. You and Thai will see Fineberg in action, I promise. We can then break down lines and critique, I am totally looking forward to that. Mostly I want Grillo, we have basically identical cars I think and I really like how he attacks the course, pumped.

Sounds good man. I look forward to being able to meet everyone at local events in the near future. Until then, I will stay updated with the thread and watch all of the videos you guys post. They seem to be great so far!

What do all of your evo's look like? Which generations do you have? I'm curious. Feel free to post some pics.
