I bet I might have screwed car up running it so hot on the way home from NJMP, it was pegged on H for water temp. I had heat on high when I realized and eventually it came down, car never stalled out or anything.

Today I caught caught in traffic on 76, car started overheating, took it to RT.

So now I have a car I cannot drive and I have been to RT 4 times for same problem, it has never been fixed (in my opinion). RT believes my car has something that just recently broke. Problem is they never fixed it right from the first time. I have been checking the car, boost leak test each time after it was there, problem has never improved.

So overheat is new problem (not necessarily RT's fault) but the valve cover pressurizing on leak tests was never fixed, but I was charged by them like it was. So now I am 4 times back and I get no explanation but it must be a new problem. I told dude there that its not a new problem because I checked this nightmare car myself, more like you guys didn't fix it right. At that point dude did not agree and I said please have owner call me if he cares to make this right. I am a reasonable person, but if I serviced ANY customer 4 times on there office furniture, said problem was fixed each visit and then customer had same problem, I would be out the door!

I got annoyed when I was told they need to do a leak down and compression test on car and they cannot do it until June 9th, 2 weeks which is unacceptable.

I believe the overheating thing is waterpump going, not head gasket. Gasket was good, last time I head off, havent got a 1000 miles on it yet. Plus it has ARP head studs, doubting that is problem.

I am going to drink alot tonight, that will surely help my problem.
That is a whole bunch of wack, sir! Any decent/reputable shop will do their best to alleviate any situation and clearly define what is a recurring and what is a new issue. Is this rt that youre referring to r/t tuning in lansdale?

that's no good son. in the shop 4 times in that short amount of time is weak, even if it's for different problems cause they should have been diagnose the first time. if it only over heat in traffic, check to see if the fan comes on when it's parked. if it doesn't over heat when you're driving, that means there's enough air going over the rad. if it's the head gasket, you'd get smoke out the exhaust and oil in the coolant.

Fan comes on when car is hot, what I need to make sure is if its pulling air through not pushing, if you cross the wires it reverses direction of fan. I have had no problems when autoxing, left the car running in grid for a good amount of time in grid, so I think fan is fine. Has to be water pump is starting to go, not pushing enough antifreeze to cool car without air flowing through radiator.
I am going to do compression check this weekend to see if its the rings. If not that then leakdown test to check seals.
I do not understand why this was not done a RT the first time. I explained that we already leak tested car and issues we found when I went there, how could they let me leave after the 2nd time of being there without performing these tests when I went back with same problem.

To be clear I do not blame the water pump issue on RT, that is a new problem that just reared it head last weekend. The antifreeze spitting issue was fixed on the 3rd visit, slight tear in heater core hose. So they fixed that issue, which was one of my original problems the 3rd visit. Also the 4th visit was today when I was told they need the car for the day and can't look at it until June 9th.

Jesus I am annoyed, drinking some Pinot Noir wine cause thats all I got in house! Wife is going to be pissed when I kill the whole bottle!

Just bought this earlier today

I wanted to start talking trash about how I am going to dominate and all spoiler and splitter action, how the homemade splitter material was getting ordered in gloss black blending all my colors together looking great and totally functional.

I am getting the spoiler either tomorrow or Tuesday afternoon, shame this whole ordeal went the wrong way and now I am totally disappointed. LOL I actually thought I was going to goto RT and problem was a stupid fix today.

Broseph, let me break down the formula:

Me + Aero front splitter Shoe stylin / GT west or something spoiler + Running Dependable car (not yet) + Bilstein Swift R spec tweek + 2 piece DBA with Carbotech XP12's / Shoe's brake cooling even though he hasn't agreed to it he will + Toyo RA1's + GSC cams, speed density, E85 and some other ish = a formidable opponent for any of you fools.

COME AT MEH BRAH

Prepped racecar + running in the green group = mad point bys for me!

Mike, I'm sorry to hear about all of your frustrations, I don't say I'm totally surprised as I have gotten my car back from rt without it being fixed totally, that being said, vince did make it right eventually by getting it working and ready to go.
