We're gonna need more than my little Weber to feed everyone, other wise we're gonna be cooking for hours.

I was thinking of that to buy food for grilling, not ordering from outside. $20 x 13 participants should be more than enough, and should covers;

Hot dogs & burgers, and all condiments. Snacks like chips. Two case of water (Dan is nuts with water needs), gaterade, and pepsi/coke products. All alcoholic beverages are on volunteered basis. We can take dietary and vegetarian rewuets for the pu**ies. If there is money left over after purchasing these items, we can use it to order pizza for dinner saturday night, or refund it to everyone. No biggie.

I also have a big cooler I can bring to store ice cold... waters and stuff. We'll need more than two cases of water... I usually drink about 1/2 a gallon or more myself in one day.

$20 to eat & drink like a king at the track for two days sounds like a good deal to meh.

Ah ok, I have some 285/30s to kill hmm and I'm down with $20 pitch in.

I was thinking the same thing. Robert has a charcoal grill also, and will work. Mike also mentioned having a small grill he can bring. That should suffice. There's only 13 of us...hot dogs are quick and easy. We don't have to wait til lunch to start cooking. Those who are not running can start cooking, and we have people running 3 different groups which should give a good span of time. I think it'll work out great with two small grills going.

If lunch is at 12-1pm, and we start the grill at 11, that is plenty of time to cook a bunch of food and have it ready for everyone to grub!

Sure thing...water is super cheap. I was just throwing a number out. We can pick up anything else needed as the supermarket is near the hotel. That can be decided after Saturday what will be needed the next day.

I'm off the Friday before the event. I can head to the track around noon, and check into the hotel, then go shopping for the items. We will need a shopping list, thats all.

Broseph, we are eating steak on my first Track day out in 6 years. We should pick up a whole fillet at butchcer and have it cut to inch-inch and half pieces. We need to make sure we have 13 steaks, boom.. Hot doga, burgers and some veggies I can grill too. Asparagus, string beans, mushrooms, onions are all great grilled. If you guys like garlic we can grill some of that up to mix in with everything..

My grill is 2' x 2' and I also have a small round weber. I will bring both, never can have too much grill or too much tent or too much beer. Feelin me

^Mike, you gonna bring knives and forks for eveyone? LOL. I'm down for veggies, but steaks will not be as quick to cook, everyone likes theirs a certain way, and bringing utensils is a bit of a hassle imo. We have a tradition of doing Texas Road House the night before track day...that should fill your steak needs if you come Friday night.

Lets try and keep this simple. LOL

seems like a lot of hassle. the food there is not bad and $8 can get you a decent lunch there. and don't have to worry about bringing all that crap and who's going to cook. we all just put in for hydration and snacks is fine with me. just saying

^Yep. I would like to keep it hassle free also. The less we have to prep for and cook, the better. I think hot dogs are the easiest to do.

Plastic forks and knives, real knife to cut whatever while grilling. If we have a bunch of grills it should not be too bad with 2 or 3 dudes cooking.
No one said anything about Roadhouse until just now. If we are having steak at restaurant no need to grill it. We have done steak and grilling many times, it is always pretty good. If you plan correctly, should be minimal hassle.
I am cool with whatever...easy to please here, only there to dominate anyways, eating is secondary.

I agree the less hassle the better, but I don't feel like eating NJMP food both days. Quick and easy grill food like chicken breast, dog, burgers and some buns to eat with, done! Like how we did it @ WGI. THat way we can all be in one area to shoot the **** while we cook/eat instead of errbody running to the consession stands or out for lunch.

$20 x 13 people = $260 which is MORE than enough $ for everyone to eat like kings both days.

I can have the wife go to Whole foods and get Marinated chicken breast in various flavors, all different kinds of burgers (steak house, blue cheese, mushroom, ect), hot dogs (beef, chicken and kosher for Mike, lol) and different kinds of sausage (sweet, hot & mild). All we'll need are rolls, condiments, cheese and stuff to eat off like paper plates and napkins. $10 worth of water @ walmat should cover all of us for the weekend.
