Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
^ I was actually refering to his comment about dropping time on Thunderbolt, but really it applies to all tracks. As for Lightning, low 1:17's are some of my faster laps, I hope to turn some 16's at this upcoming event. 40lbs of boost, VIII turbo, pump gas, street tires.
Mike, you're not running on your starspecs?
Also, on a different note... Looks like Philly Region has the SM & T-SM/Sp guys running last again this Sunday. Total BS if you ask me... If that is indeed the case, I will not be going to Dover.

I am running my Toyo RA1 from last decade, need to use them up, they are 17" - Robispec old set up. If they suck it I will throw on the star specs.
Chu you talkin to meh?? Better watch out for me when were out there, don't need you holding me up forgetting to point me by.

I have a question, watching your videos no one seems to rev match their down shifts. Am I missing something, is that not necessary? It is something I have always tried to do in my cars, was taught that somewhere I think by an instructor. Rev matching makes things much slower and complicated, so you guys do it or not? What about your drive-train, any probs?
Your instructor was wrong. No need to rev-match, just jam it in there. IF it won't go in then push harder till it does.
I only upshift anyways, never down shift since it will slow you down. <-- pro tip right there!

chasing Marc around. he was on Chu's A6 tires and i was on street tires on sunday 2nd session. you need to step up your game son if i can keep up with you on street tires.
our power/weight level is about the same cause i only pull on him slightly on the straight, mainly cause i'm drafting him. i was only running 20 psi in this session because of street tires.

Probably because WRC is limited to 2.0 motors only. While Mitsubishi no longer have a factory team, there are other teams out there that uses the evo. Not sure about other forms of rally like IRC though. Just a thought.
Granted I have no idea what kind of times my M will do in it's current configuration (i'd be happy with 1:20s), but 1:19s seem slow to me...I was doing 1:19s in a Spec E30 (168hp/2895lbs) on horrible, full tread RA1s. I was doing 1:22s in our $500 crap can (160ish hp/2900lbs) on Star Specs.
^ that would have been a better motor. isn't the motor in the dodge caliber srt-4 2.4L the same as or similar to the evo X motor.
any of ya'll have advice on which aftermarket radiator to get? was seeing high 190's low 200 coolant times this weekend on low boost. WOuld like to finally upgrade my 120k mile OEM radiator.
