Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
i'd like to have better seats and harnesses down the line. the X seats have some fairly aggressive bolsters for a street car but i find myself putting my right leg over the seat bolsters so that i can lean my leg on the door with my foot on the dead pedal to brace myself under cornering.
cool story? i got plenty of them.....

^ do what chu does, use the Schroth lap belt to keep your butt in the seat, and use the stock seatbelt on top of that. or use a G-lock on the stock seat belt.
or do the autox trick and slide your seat back, quick tug on the seat belt to lock it, then slide the seat forward and the belt will be tight.

what are you, marking your territory?

I figured it was something military related. just curious if you were in jacksonville or fayetteville. i spent a lot of my younger years near jacksonville.
neither of the two are great place. fayetteville is a giant truck stop with monsterous hicks and jacksonville is overrun with marines, titty bars and car dealerships.

I truely began hating Marines after that trip. Luckily, i have since met some really awesome Marines who offset that trip.
AreSTG, you probably have all your answers already, but if you're looking to run 285/30/18's the recipe is simple.
install extended studs front and rear
get a set of 18x9.5 or 18x10 RPF1 et38
get a set of 20mm spacers for front
get a set of 5mm spacers for rear
have chu *****slap your rear fenders with a quick roll of the lip
grind the casting mark off the rear LCA where the tire will rub under deflection
install said wheels and tires
get dominated at the autox by PCD Evo's on street tires
Done!

For the rear, I am expecting no spacer needed. I ordered R/TErnie's trailing arms, that way i didn't need to worry about squirm hitting the arm, and less work needed on rear quarterpanel. Probably just a roll I hope.
And yeah, I'm nto excited to get beat in autox by people multiple classes below me. Whatever, it'll still be fun like my first couple autox's were.
is that a joke, or you seriously going to swap a front sway at track?
We're still trying to fit some RPF1s?

I think it will be close!
thats messed up, B.
wish I could but its not in the cards this year. Next year fo sho tho.
I burn about 6-7 gallons of 93 in 25min on 20psi. If he runs as hard as us he'll burn more cause he is making a lot more power (25psi) and burning 33% more fuel. So figuring 9-10 gallons a session x 4 sessions per day x 2 days = 72-80 gallons of fuel. It'll be close...
yeah, with TT i go out and push as hard as i can to get that perfect lap then back off. after several hot laps, the brakes, tires and traffic is not optimal for fast lap anymore.
with DE, i like to find cars that match my speed and chase/lead them around. or find slow cars like Marc and try to get as many point by on video as i can.
