As a newb, I could only drive to my the limit of what I've learned. Each time I have been on track, I've gotten faster, so I certainly drive to that higher limit. What I've done in the past is have an instructor drive my car, or put a time down in my car. This allows me to see what the car is capable of, so I have a comparison of where I fall short as a driver. Having said that, I don't push to the edge like some people do. For example, I don't accelerate all the way to the brake zone, and then brake. I will coast in a bit...this way I can focus on braking technique as well as downshifting if I must.

why are you running that much boost on pump gas and why would you lower the boost once you're using alcohol?

any sort of injection type set up just seems like an extreme hassle and pretty unreliable.

LOL, Thai - That F430 didn't like late braking. I didn't see a point-by, what is this anyway a race?

28psi on 93...

Better get rid of the E85, Alky, Aquamist, whatever else you've installed. Its not needed for track use, and you certainly dont want to run out of it if your tune is dependent on it.

if you're only getting 14mpg avg, then you might get 3-4 mpg on track. i get about 5 mpg on track and i can get decent mpg on highway, around 25 mpg

that's what it was set at when i bought it... cbrd bbk full and cbrd fmic no knock no heat soak, boost tapers at around 7k to 1.8 bar until 8300.

no injection setup, just e85 and 93 no meth no water... seems too risky, maybe for the strip, but i'm a circuit kinda guy. plus I like my clutch.
