Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
As a newb you do not need to worry about how fast a track is...you won't be able to go as fast as your car can go.
This brings up a question, how many of you push the car as hard as it will go and for how long on the track? I know Thai pushes his car hard I've seen the videos, but he usually stops after a few laps. I guess that means his pho-china might be itching after the 2nd or 3nd when he is pushing 10/10s. What chu other peeps be doing?
I can't believe only 80 people signed up for Lightning this weekend. If they balance the groups perfectly thats only 16 people per group, lol. I can't believe they'll do that though so some groups will probably have 10 people and others 20. All I can say is there will be MAD track time and space this weekend. I am getting stoked!

i have ran DTC60, DTC70 on my s2k and Evo, i would always get uneven pad deposit and the brake would shutter. i talked to Marty Grand (SCCA National Champ) last week and he said that hawks are some of the best pads he has used for road racing. he said most people get pad deposits with hawk is because they don't use it hard enough. i told him i was braking at the tires limit, although i wasn't using A6 at the time.
he's a crazya$$ driver.

yeah, with TT i go out and push as hard as i can to get that perfect lap then back off. after several hot laps, the brakes, tires and traffic is not optimal for fast lap anymore.
with DE, i like to find cars that match my speed and chase/lead them around. or find slow cars like Marc and try to get as many point by on video as i can.

i'm running 28 psi on 93 right now, on a perrin ebcs when i get the alk tune i'm probably gonna have him turn it down a little, but I wasn't thinking less than 25.
although considering i'm avg. 14 mpg and rarely see more than 190 miles per tank maybe 20 on pump isn't a horrible idea

80 gallons might be more than enough. i can't see him burning through much more than 30 gallons each day. last time i was there on e85, i killed 28 gallons on the first day. i had like 30ish left over for the second day and still needed some of that to get home.
