Let me throw out a wheel question. If i were to powdercoat the lm's, would I be able to repolish the lip portion down the road? Thinking about flat blacking the center section, and gloss blacking the lip section.

Thanks for the info yall. I guess nobody has logged their temps in EVO scan to see the difference? As pete said that OE gauge is just a dummy one...

looks like the mishi units are around $240ish... not bad for an aftermarket unit. Chu, do you know what Petey's prices are? I'd rather support a local than one of the big vendors.

The evo rad is pretty gnarly, so I would probably wait till you need a replacement. You do have alot of miles...hmm

Did you ever get that mini battery in?
yes. Deka went in fine. wound up using the OEM battery try and a set of tie-downs I got at autozone for $3.99. So if someone wanted to shed some weight they could switch to a mini-battery for around $70 total.

I got mine from ExtremePSI, good price and free shipping. It was here the next day since they're so close.

Would do it all at once if I were you. Send the face to the powdercoater, and the wheel barrel to a wheel shop. There's one in Wilmington that does a great job from what I've heard. You don't want to powdercoat the face while it's still on the wheels. I dont think they can get around the fasteners.
