JSC and RT tuning always have Motul in stock. Pep-brothers, autozone or even walmart have Castrol and Vavloline.

I use ATE Super Blue in the last two years, and its a great all around fluid. Motul is a great fluid, but as Marc mentioned, more expensive. ATE is about $14/liter, whereas the Motul is 14/pint. However I do like the Motul, and I'm going to run it next. Only for color reason to be honest!

As far as baller status, Castrol SRF is baller status.

Most of us autox on a regular basis, but so far I think only myself, Jeff & Ben have done any recent road racing. I'm always throwing out when and where I'm going next cause it seems like I'm the only one interested (even though most have said they'll try it out at some point).

The next event I'm going to is @ Watkins Glen on Aug 13th-15th w/PCA. Its $390 for 3 days, but there is a waiting list to sign up. You might still make it in if you reg ASAP, but no promisses.

After the Glen I'm going to try and do Monticello in October and Shenandoah in September. I will be posting in here as the registration opens.

I am down with AutoX. The Drag Racing is getting boring to me. I've already done so much and even with my new race car coming out for next year I am still itching for something different.

As far as the 13-15th, Im already booked that weekend for Honda Day at Englishtown. So I wont make that one.

I am going to check out that link. Thanks man.

Well gents, I needs to tear down the transmission and pull the clutch to check out what my problem has been. Worn clutch disks is what people are saying, so I've ordered all the neccesary parts, and more. Problems is, I still need fluids. I have the trans stuff, but I need the TC and rear diff fluids.

I didn't know you were having problems Chu. what are the symptoms?

For the TC & rear I used redline heavyweight shockproof. in the trans I'm running redline, but I forget if its straight MTL or if its the MT-90. JSC Speed has all that stuff in stock. I'm actually doing all my fluids again next week in preparation for the Glen.

Both are high 400 to low 500 wet boiling point, which is the number you're going to want to look at unless you plan on flushing your fluid every couple weeks. If you want to be baller get Motul RBF 600. thats what I run on track days and its 16-19 a pint compared to $4-$6 per QT of the other two I mentioned, but unless you track your car its a waste of money. You will need about 2 pints of fluid to do a full system flush including the clutch slave.

Another good thing to have is a motive power bleeder. Makes brake bleeding a snap, seriously. The hardest part is getting the car in the air and all the wheels off.
valvoline synpower is no more- i think it might be labeled something else but it could also be reformulated.
