Can anybody fix this before I go to JM FAB. I really would like this to get done locally, The trans is out of the car. I think it just needs some alum filler rod and drill and tap.

Give me my real-time telemetry HUD and driving assist system off my smartphone and then we have something.

well it was fun while it lasted... lifted the head on one of my sessions today. It was only a matter of time, with 113k on the clock, dozens of HPDE's & autox's this car doesn't owe me a thing. THankfully with the help of my evoscan PPC I was able to catch it in time and the car is still fine, but I def have a minor HG leak going on. Coolant temps will be fine for a 20 minute session then all of a sudden jump from 190 to 220-230 in a couple of seconds, lol. looks like I'm going to be doing a little upgrading over the winter

Whaaaaa, I cant believe I have to post in the NJ owners thread now that I moved, haha.
Medford NJ is beat.
And damn its been a while since I got on here..
I forgot who I met up with before, but whoever I did and whoever knows everything about my car besides chu, next weekend I shall finaly be able to unviel it. It came out nice with the voltex kit and all I think. Im waiting on gauges and some rims now, and I need to get some cams asap. But she runs, runs hard. Anyone know anyone who has a spare ACD line or something that theyd wanna sell? Mine got damaged somehow..

Yikes, that's too bad. Has the head ever been off? Factory head studs?

Did you drop coolant on the track?

Like you said, that car owes you nothing. I don't think there are any cars that would take that amount of abuse you dish out, and make it to 113k miles without a major problem.

factory seal has never been broken, till now that is.

I pushed about half a cup of coolant out of the expansion tank. lucky I was watching my EVOScan PPC gauges and saw coolant spike right away so I backed off. I really think it saved my motor cause I NEVER look at that damn dummy coolant gauge.

honestly, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner with the abuse that motor has seen.

to the OP, my vote goes toward Pocono or NJMP

I just checked the timing maps from the old rom I pulled from the ecu on 7-3-10 with the rom Im using now and there is a big difference.
the rom I'm using now has alot less tming all over the place. as much as 4* in some areas. I'm also now running 25psi now compared to teens to low 20s so it should.

I don't think the tune was the cause if thats what you're getting at, but I'm always open to suggestions. I can post screen shots if anyone wants to see them. Aside from a couple part throttle spikes the knock sensors only recorded 2 - 5 count events, 1 - 4 count event and 5 - 3 count events. I have my SES light set to flash slow at 3 and fast at 6, I don't even pay attention if its not 6 or higher.

It was the boost creep...

Still sucks, but like Ben already said, that car doesn't owe you anything. I've witnessed the beatings first hand.
