Yeah, finally got it to connect. Hamish is still working with me to get the LM1 to log though. he said there is a bug in the evoscan software that won't allow it to read an LM1, only an LC1. Hopefully he'll have it figured out and back to me tonight sometime.

it wouldn't recognize my 1.3 cable so he logged onto my computer and did some stuff to the driver and xml files and bam it connected. I don't know exactly what he did cause he had screens flying all over the place.

Time to change the oil... I picked up Pennzoil Ultra again (2nd time using it in a row), it was on sale for $25 at the Mart. I was gonna try Mobil1 high mileage as I thought someone (might have been you Marc) told me that the M1 highmileage has higher a higher zinc content than others...? Anyone know anything about?

if you haven't changed your oil already you should hit up blackstone labs for a sample kit and get analysis done. it like $15 but well worth it for piece of mind... especially after that flogging you put it thru at monticello.

If anyone is near the KOP mall right now, there is a Driving event (kind of) and a autox. It's free and you get one run. The fastest time of the day wins an iPad. I was sloppy as hell and still managed third place.

If an Autoxers are close, get down here and win the iPad!

I'm not sure how much longer they will be here though.

 

Forgot to mention, it is being put on by Volvo, and the autox car is a new S60.

I only drove the S60. There were like 30 people there waiting in line to drive the BMW/Audi/Volvo. When I told them I just wanted to AutoX, they rushed me to the front of the line to drive the S60 and immediately sent me to the AutoX course. I was in and out in ten minutes.

Yep, and it looks like they're doing it tomorrow as well.
