it will looked stretched. but imo a 255 also looks a bit stretched on a 9.5

also the offset has no effect on the size tire you can fit on the wheel, only if you will encounter clearance issues

What's up guys? Long time since I posted in here. Anyone have any experience with the Z1 star specs? I've heard a lot of positives about them, but not from anyone I know. I need some new summer tires and I'm not feeling the $330 sticker on the stock advans.

Anyone here able to recommend a decent engine machine shop in the Pittsburgh area. Most likely I would use them to assemble a stroker kit with my block if I go that route. I just want to see what options I have available. I would be willing to drive a little if it means great service / experience. I might consider going a 2.1 stroker and have them refresh the block that is in there and assemble it all.

If I go that route I would most likely just buy the 2.1 shortblock all together. I was going to see if there is anyone in the area who could do the stroker kit for a little cheaper. If no, then I will just have BR do the whole shortblock.

hey guys...havent been on in a while...been busy with dental school....got a question for you tho....my inspection is coming up soon...i have the ams turbo back with test pipe.. however i have their hi flow cat to bolt on for the inspection...the problem is that it doesnt look like a standard catalytic converter...so idk if it would pass inspection "visually"...planning on taking it to mike at bairel.... heres the link to the hi flow cat....thanks again... hope all is well for everyone

If it is a high flow cat and not a test pipe, regardless of what it looks like it will pass. Provided it isn't throwing any codes and the cat is actually doing its job. Plus, Mike has definitely seen his fair share of high-flow cat's before, so you shouldn't have a problem. If you have any problems with it down the line (you won't at Baierl) just tell them to take the exhaust off and look at it, then when they see it is a real cat, they refund your labor to take it apart for not believing you.
