Well, looks like I'll be the first poster in our new thread, so here it goes:
FINALLY, after a long Evo-less month, I got my car back! I must say, this transmission and clutch combo is pretty damn sick. The throws actually feel shorter than in the six speed and now that the car is able to get the power to the ground, it pulls HARD. It really caught me by surprise when I got on it in first gear...feels alot faster than I remember. I'm also really liking the 5th gear as it is longer than my 6th gear was in my MR transmission. I have an Evo 9 first gear and hardened input shaft which carries a slight whine while accelerating. I'm not sure if it has something to do with how the gear was cut, but I'm going to make sure it is supposed to sound like that tomorrow. Overall, I'm very pleased. Mike helped me out big time with the labor rate (practically slave wages for the amount of work he did).
The front sway bar I had installed took out a noticeable amount of body roll and the car reacts much more quickly to steering inputs. Feels very flat now...can't wait to see what it does with a rear sway bar installed to compliment it. Won't be doing any more mods until my bank account begins to recover from the massive beating that its taken. I'll be living off a lot of canned tuna for the next couple of months, but its worth it to have my Evo back. I almost completely forgot what I was missing.

thats great news.. i take it that u didnt "break in" the new clutch lol.. i probably wouldnt be able to resist as well. did u notice a lot of chatter with the exedy twin disk during reverse or low gear? I'm planning on making an appointment with mike sometime during the spring to get my exedy twin installed as well =)
