there are lots of machine shops in the area that are good, but the dont have the jigs for working on imports...There is a shop over on rt 8..he built all the jigs...blank on the name sounds like a drug store....The motors I build go all over the country...head to arizona, block to california...Pittsburgh crank for cut an polish , port, balance.....Rotating assembly, can only be put together in one place......

I did. I was going to do a remake of Ken Blocks' gymkhana run and at the end say "I love my Baierl vehicle because Mike will rip apart the head and fix the piston rings i fried. But first i have to take my mods off so i can get it covered under warranty." I already bought tickets to circ de soleil....Originally Posted by Evol.ved

haha. That would be priceless!!!1
Does Baierl have a Toyota dealership? We can have a Toyota driving down the road with no one in it. Then we can have Mike running after it on foot.

Hey guys, wanted to introduce myself to the Pittsburgh crowd. Just picked up an Octane Blue X GSR yesterday, it was a bit dark by the time I made it home but here's a pic

So what are the best places for service, tuning, etc around the burgh (this is my first evo and I want to treat it properly
)?

Welcome! What part of Pittsburgh are you in? For service, pretty much everyone uses Mike @ Baierl in Wexford. He is top notch. As for aftermarket, there is CBRD and Buschur. For tuning there are those 2 places plus J's and Nate from TPG. Have you put together a list for your 3K yet?
There is a meet in April. Come and introduce yourself.

+1 for Baierl and make sure Mike works on your car. Just prepare for your seat to be in the furthest back position. haha
