Dave, I was curious about the RS weight, and from what I've found it is only 60lb lighter then a gsr. Do you have any spec sheets that show the 200lbs? I do remember the 8's being more then 60 I thought but maybe I'm wrong. I'm really interested in the actual weight. Did you ever have it on scales?

I am sure the new owner already scaled it, just to see stock weight.....Before the transformation from Jackie chan into Bruce Lee

If I had a fresh RS canvas to work on, I would paint my masterpiece!

Mike, does he still have those scales? If so i could use them myself. I will have to hit him up.

reference re RS weight.
3,134 spare tire, jack, half tank and 30lbs of crap, safety kit etc. So I'd say 3100 is a good safe #.

Eric, i use a Forge Unos MBC and in hind-sight, would not go with a MBC again on the X. Get a 3 port of some sort.

Can I even use a mbc if I wangt to switch maps on the fly from hi or low boost or e85?

Btw, I've tried searching for everything before I ask it and either I'm retarded or the search engine is ****

no if you want that kind of control you're probably going to have to go with speed density sensor in addition to a 3/4 bar MAP.

does the ecu map switching work the same way on the X that it does on the ct9a? from what i have gathered on the VIII/IX ecu there is enough storage room to just store the extra maps right in the ROM of the ecu, then use a switch to toggle the selection.

it's pretty slick how those maps work and how the ecu interprets them. i still find XML annoying and verbose, but it really is used for nifty stuff. one of these days i am going to finish learning about port communication in .NET and make my own logging/flashing program. it seems like it would be a very interesting endeavor.
