Ok let me give you an image of the hill climb event...imagine your favorite windy back road that you have always wanted to run it at top speed....now have a local community block that road off and allow you to go legally race on it....plus shut down a major highway beside it so you can return to start line and run it all over again...only one evo here....should be more..

 

Still can't get the rom off the ecu.......

Does anyone know what car to tell the ecu flash program I have when trying to take the image off the car? I has provisions for evo 5/6/7/8/9 and 2006+ mitsubishi CAN models which I tried and it says .
I've even watched the tutorial on youtube and it just doesn't have the 2010 (or 08) X on the list??!?

I have the latest version of ecu flash as well.

 

Can you imagine driving on said road, making a "minor" mistake, ending up in a ditch or in a guardrail, $XX,XXX amount of damage, calling you up saying "Mike, when can I drop the car off? I need it for the next hillclimb!

That would be a blast to do. Unfortunately I haven't become independently wealthy.

 

I can see why some people love it.....yes I think four or five cars wrecked yesterday..a porshe on it's first run. It's now junk ...but you have to agree. The second you pull on to a race course of any kind you upping your odds of failure....it's always in every drivers mind.....

 

So how's jeremy doing?

 

First in class, 2nd overall! It will be hard to catch the one sports racer on this hill too. And the gurney eagle hasn't raced a good run yet. (google that if you don't know what it is) sick fast!

Are you serious?? I lived near Cumberland before I moved here and had no idea that's what the hill climb was.

Man, I missed out on some fun Evo times while I was there.
