Yeah, I'd have to buy the whole knob If I go that route. Next time I am in I'll ask if they can warranty it.

But hell if that's the worst I can find wrong with the car(knock on wood) I think I've done well.

How is the plastic piece in there? I was thinking you could have something made up, but who knows what that would cost or where to get it done at.

Well can you take off the MR knob? Is that reverse lock collar on there in any special way? The other ones twist right off.

The little plastic piece seats in with what I assume is a little light adhesive on the bottom. That's how my greedy weighted one worked.

That is why i am going with it......I don't have cams nor ever will

Dave I will probably have one here in a couple weeks - your welcome to come and see what you think....I am hoping it works out, to have a stock quiet car and still have the benefits of a 3" exhaust will be great.

What clutch did you put in it? Also what brake pads and rotors?

Front and rear crash beams

I had to put 140 lbs of 'freakin' lead ballast into the car to meet weight, so figured I might as well put the f/r crash beams back on rather than have useless lead under the seat...

If anyone has one and/or the other lying around that they want to get rid of them, let me know!

Thanks

OEM for all the above.

I know most are thinking "stock clutch!" OMG! That's crazy.

For a six speed of unknown quality with 6,000 miles to go on the warranty it was the right move. Not to mention I flogged the stock clutch on that RS and it held together well.

I have a factory rear crash beam laying around, I might even have a front one, but it might be a little bent. I will look around for you.

^fwiw. Lol, in auto-x not having those puts you in XP class. An even faster class then SM. Yes, dumb rule! It is one of the easiest mods to reduce weight. And some fmic require it to be gone to fit.
