well good news: evo is getting a new paint job.. not the color i wanted though lol. insurance is paying for it because of stupid penndot trucks that ruin paint jobs. so hopfully she'll be shining like new soon!

 

btw....if anyone doesn't already know this just be careful. In PA if your caught speeding in a school zone its an automatic $500.00 fine, according to the cop its something new and I think the local borough cops are licking there chops...

my fiance got nailed yesterday in a school zone - it was by the catholic church on Seibert, she never saw the blinking light nor did I.....$585.00 fine.

Anyway the cop told her this new PA law and so im spreading the word to be careful and mindful of school zones....that is a large chunk of change.

32 mph.....and there was a few cars behind her all going the same speed she said the one behind her was tailgating bad. I think the speed limit on that section is 25 or 30 I forget - hopefully when she goes to the hearing they will reduce it some. I think it was 4 or 5 point as well......was her second ticket since she was 16 and the first one she has had in 6 years - cop said they possibly could go easy on you.

regardless of actual speed - its an auto 500.00 fine if your speeding, no matter what I guess.....

Wow that is riduculous.......ive seen cops sit at the school zone right at the top of the hill near my house on coraopolis heights road....funny thing is that at the time i drive through, the light is flashing, but dont recall ever seeing any kids....fine does seem excessive though....
