I saw an evo at the Mills Mall Friday night. Badgeless except a tiny Flex Fuel badge in the corner..ams intercooler and black powder coated enkeis I believe..anyone here? Parked behind you in my friends Yellow 20th GTI haha...Sick Evo Btw.

i guess it worked! I was gonna flag you down when you drove past me when i was walking but Yeah sonic would be great as long as it's between 2 and 4 haha! I will probably be the only stock evo since I just got mine, but it would be cool to learn something from you guys. Just let me know time and day.
I always wondered about the 60k number. I think it is a very conservative estimate based on someone like me who drives his car only 6k a year but a lot of those miles are sitting in traffic/city.
IMO change the belt at 60k or every 5 years, whichever comes first. My car was first bought in 1/07 so I will do it early 2012 no matter what the miles are.
Doing it a few thousand miles early might be a good idea as its still under warranty and if Mike or whomever finds something off while its apart it would hopefully be covered.

Kinda what I was thinking as well in regards to both of your posts. I'd rather be safe than sorry and get it done a little early. I'm always a little surprised by the number of people that I hear saying they push it way past 60k (probably just trying to save money).
