Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
I would in a heartbeat if I wasn't getting tuned on the dyno today. Gotta get this 11.4 mpg E85 situation under control. It certainly would make for a perfect T&T evening...maybe if I finish early enough I will head out there.
11.4mpg seems about right for E85. I think I get 12city/18 hwy...
Any idea if they let you race after the racing has already begun? Do they offer any discount on racing if you get there late? I'd be happy with one or two runs if I broke into the 11's...
Last week it was empty, only 2 lanes of street cars. They had 2 - 1 hour long cleanups and we still got 7 runs.
so anyone going to the shootout?
heres a thread i put together a while ago for those interested

Well, today turned out to be a great day. Belted out 388whp/399wtq on the dyno and then made it down to the track to run a best of 11.71@119.4. Fastest run was prior to that with an 11.72@121.8.
My final run was my lowest ET and ironically also my worst 60ft at 1.79 (spinning all the way through first). I shifted the best and was flying through the 1/8th with a 95mph trap (gained about 4mph compared to my other 2 runs), but I guess it was either knocking or breaking up at upper 7000rpm range because my trap speed was 2 mph lower.
Good times, nice running into EvoIan as well. Good to see his car running strong - although, it looks like his stock clutch is ready to take a vacation.

I was just shocked it still grabbed for my last two passes after I attempted that launch on the stationary limiter and smoked it.
I guess I won't be getting the twin just yet...

my twin disc came from all my bond money growing up
