Quote: Ran the AutoX at Beaver Run today. Was my first time AutoXing and it went pretty well. Got to kill a few cones, but they deserved it. I think I'm hooked. I can see going through tires pretty quickly. haha The suspension felt really really good. Just got to get some more time with it and should be better. Hopefully run out these DZ101s and switch out to a the StarSpec or Kumo XS tires.

Little bit of sensory overload at first with all the cones. Finished the day with a 33.78 secs which was the fastest time for awhile and pretty sure the first into the 33 sec range.

Some of the times I ran:
35.63
34.xx (wasn't sure what he said)
35.75
35.85
35.57
34.72
34.10
34.71
33.78

Got to shoot the **** with Curt B. He brought out the Lotus to run the course. He ran a 33.85 I believe.

Nice! Glad you liked it. SCR and NHSCC are a bit more "professional" with timing, unless beaverun quit using the stopwatch and got a real timer setup. Plus you'll see a lot more r compound tired cars at those events.

You should definitely come to the PVGP autox in 2 weeks up there.

Here I go again,

I got a Dell 19" lcd I'd like to get rid of. Screen is perfect. M#1909wf. Closest thing I could find on dell's website is this:

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=320-0940

It has a vga connector and a Dvi connector on back. Looking for $75

I'll certainly try to make it. Hopefully the car holds up after the July 10th event. Not sure I'll do the r-comp tires, but you never know.

Less then a week left before the Wilson TT. If your racing or thinking about it, please register or let me kno if you have any questions. I might be talked into letting someone borrow some race tires and wheels if anyone is interested.

Is the long pants and shirt rule in effect for this race?

Since I've never done a "real" autox event, how do I know what class I would be in? I was guessing Street Modified, but wasn't sure.

Thanks! Your car sounded and looked good I'm in cranberry a lot. My brother is the tax collector for cranberry and is having some type of cruise at the park in cranberry on thursday night. Mostly muscle cars, but I always bring a few subies. Would like to have some evo's too!

haha. No offense taken. The one on the 4th was pretty laid back with no classing which was kind of cool. I figured since if I'm going to be doing this more, I should know what class I'll be in.

In the Street Modified class, can you run r-comps/slicks?
