What are the opinions on brake bedding? I have the Girodisc 2-pc rotors all the way around and I had the Ferodo 2500 pads on. Slowly broke them in, they had anti-noise Ti shims and greased pretty well and were still incredibly loud in DD use. I am swapping them out for the Girodisc "Magic" pads to use on the street. I will keep the Ferodo's for track use, but wanted to see what the general consensus was on brake bedding.

Thoughts?

SEMA 2010 pictures

Ok....I finally found a little time today to get photos loaded. I still have two videos of the racing in the parking lot I need to post. These are pictures I took from walking around the SEMA show in Las Vegas for 3 days. I am telling you...I must have walked 10 miles each day. This show has so much to look at....

..here are all the pics I took.

Are you asking if it's important? I've tried bedding pads and have put on new ones and gone racing without bedding them. I'd suggest doing it!

Dude, don't get rid of those ds2500s, bed them and forget about it. I have had mine on for probably two years and love them. They bite hard and are a great street/light track work pad. The can get dusty, but they aren't excessive. I also have not noticed any noise coming from mine.

those are some great pics jim, jay said you were having a good time out there.

buchner, as far as places to bed them in, there really isn't anywhere to safely do that. my best advice to you would be to see about hitting up a low key autocross or test n tune at the drag strip and use the either the course or the braking zone at the end of the 1320 to accomplish it.

Dunno, but I saw a black one in Mercer (close to Hermitage) that looked like that. Wonder if it was the same one.
