I truly hope Eric isn't selling the car because of this forum. I'm sure that car has a ton of potential especially if Mike built it. To give up on it this early is craziness in my eyes.

Yes, we are running TT's and the auto-x at BR this year. As much as Eric thinks the managment at BR has their own agenda and is getting away from racing, that is not the case. They are trying very hard to get quality events started. With good personel and much better marketing.

Always felt the marketing has been the week link of BR. Hope they can do better to get the message out to bring in more people.

i think this will go a huge way to making those events better.

my two major complaints about the previous seasons of low key autocross were bad course designs (with short cones), and no timing gear.

not having those timing lights makes it really hard to judge your mistakes and improve upon them.

i think that will be great for both BR and SCR though. BR will be able to generate more interest in some well organized and run events, and hopefully SCR will get to make a few bucks and get some really great exposure of their own.

i'm going to have to talk to the boss about letting me out of work early enough on autocross days to make it up there next year.

My only complaint about BR: the crap excuse for a road you have to drive on to get there. Its like driving up an Afghan mountain pass after an artillery shelling.

Brent Johnson looked awesome again last night. I'm not sure what's the matter with Snowflake. Either he's lost his mojo or he's looking to be traded. How about Letestu winning the game in his 1st shootout?

that was excellent.

did you hear staggey right before he took the puck too "wouldn't it be great if the rookie won it on the road for them..."

that was a well deserved win for sure and i think brent johnson has earned his starts now.

one other odd thing, did anyone hear what bob erey said after the kunitz goal?

"he put it upstairs like you keep the peanut butter"

i think bobby took a few too many shots to his head during his playing days.

I will be there for sure.

Johnson is looking pretty good, Fleury is just way off his game right now and needs some time to think about things. It might be time to switch up the goalie coach or something, he needs something to give him a wake up call.

Steigerwald and Errey stole that phrase off the announcer for the Buffalo Sabres. It is supposed to be, "He went top shelf, where Momma hides the cookies.". I went to school up near the border and got a ton of Sabres games on the TV, you heard him say it all the time. I love hearing Lange on the radio, that guy never allows a dull moment during the game.
