I would advise against the .40 cal. That is what my Glock is and would never go that caliber again. Get either the 9mm or .45.

i've never shot a .40, only a 9mm and a .45, but the .40 was on my short list of next calibers to get. i always kind of saw it as a good marriage between high capacity and high caliber, but having never actually fired one i don't know for sure.
