Seriously, hope everyone is having an "incident" free time...over on RacePA someone posted that there were quite a few "offs" today
yes there were 3 cars totaled. One hit a tree in flight!

And you think going w2w is going to be safer? I at least don't have to worry about getting punted by some over zelous idiots out on track. The trees and gaurd rails don't move. If you hit one it's either your fault of a mechanical.

you really should try one Patrick!

I ended up 4th overall. The eagle roared to life to take the king title. ( and I literly mean roar! Insane.) and 2 of the sports racers just went to fast for me. Downforce and 1000lb weight was greater then AWD on
this hill.

I'm sure mike will confirm that losing to these guys and cars is pretty much not something I can be mad about.

I did better my time from last year by 1.3 sec. Not much more out there.

Seriously tho, it's probably like any other type of racing...if you are smart, know the course and have a bit of talent you are going to have fun and come out unscathed...case in point you set a new record and drove your car home

w2w will have as many (if not more) "incidents" but having a busted fender or ending up in the kitty litter because some nitwit decided to dive bomb you is better than flying into trees

You can't really appreciate the hill climb evenT until you see it in person. Some of the home built monsters that go racing up the hill. Impressive. The fact the Jer can even run with these guys is amazing. I took some pictures I will post up tomorrow. Great event. Glad I went.....

I have a video camera all hooked up. But, I havnt been able to get myself to push record for about 1.5 years now. I really was ready to try and break my superstition ( never had one before about anything) but after the first run Wreck with the Porsche I couldn't bring myself to do it. . Maybe next event!

I'm east of you, in Warren, PA. There's also an EB IX in Franklin, PA.

Where is "up my way" ?

I saw that same car Friday the 6th. We did a few runs on 79 near Cranberry, till his CF fender started tearing off his car.

Any ideas who he is?

You're not too terribly far away. I just came up 79 from Pittsburgh earlier today and made a quick stop in Mercer. Us northwest PA guys should get together.

Darkrider3 is in Warren, OH. There's also an EB IX in Franklin, PA. If we could find the guy with the X w/CF front end, we could have a NW PA meet.
