its funny how little pride people take in thier work or how little regard they have for the packages they deliver.....

I am waiting on front brake pads which i need really bad....UPS tracking said out for delivery yesterday morning....got home , checked tracking again and still said out for delivery....so i made dinner, sat on the front porch eating dinner then after dinner looked at tracking again.....it said delivery attempt at 7:40....Total BS, i was sitting on my front porch from 7 til 8......so then I was pissed and called UPS and they proceeded to argue with me that he tried to deliver at the time that it said...

Besides...why should I have to sign for a set of brake pads???

It pays to live near a UPS Hub.... If they need a signature, I usually miss it once and then just pick it up at New Stanton. I've been down that same road too many times.

 

many of those ups/fedex drivers are horrible about that.

i usually get the "ninja knock" where they rappel down the side of my house by a rope, tap the door with a feather, and then somersault down the steps and in to the driver's seat of their truck. the only trace being a note stuck to the door and a grappling hook stuck to my gutter.

i usually do better if i listen for the clatter of the truck engine outside my house.

 

Oh man that is soooooo true. The sad thing is I work from home. It would be impossible for me NOT to hear them knock unless they have a limp wrist. When that FullRace header was to be delivered it said signature required. So I put a sticky note on the door that said KNOCK LOUD.
